Just had clutch and flywheel replaced under warranty yesterday. Now about 50 miles later driving down the highway my mustang decides to go decepticon mode on me and transform into a truck. Literally sounded like a diesel truck. Loss of power. CEL blinking. Went away after about 1/2 mile.
Figured it might be one of those one off things so drove 2 miles back home and parked for a bit. Got curious and went back out to see if I could replicate the issue.
Got back on the highway and all was good until I down shifted to 4th and gave it some gas. Immediately transformed back into decepticon mode and got flashing CEL and loss of power.
Just night dropped it at the dealer that replaced my clutch & flywheel. Well see what they say. I'll keep you all posted. :shrug:
