Well, this CE light has reared its head again after about 6+ months dormant. Back in October, I was unlucky enough to have someone hit-and-run the car while parked in my apartment's garage, and after the car returned from the body shop, the light was absent until last week...had my fingers crossed that it might have been an electrical issue that had somehow sorted itself out - clearly not the case.

To recap: I've swapped out the full set of plugs and gapped them all to spec, switched the coils from the aforementioned cylinders (still throwing codes remain for cylinders #3 and #8 when it reappears). Car is running fine and has no issues with drivability with the light on or off. Sounds like the intake manifold is the next step? Thankfully I've now got a comfortable place to work on the vehicle, so it can be a weekend job in a garage.

Any thoughts before I take the plunge into the manifold purchase?

Since you have done everything else it seems, the Intake Manifold would be where I would look to next.

Well, looks like I know what I'll be doing this weekend...probably with a compression test just for safe measure.
