Sorry to hear about this. Sounds pretty shitty. As others have mentioned, try calling and speaking to someone else. Try going there and speaking with someone else. It may just be laying around somewhere and the people you have dealt with are lazy. Maybe it was misplaced and is back in a location that can be more easily found.hey guys, so i bought this product from a mustang member and got it shipped to my PO BOX.
its $300 worth and he said he didnt put any insurance on it.
Here is what happend, tracking number thing on website says it arrived!
so next day, I went to PO and did get my yellow paper inside of my PO box that peope get when they got a package. I went to desk to get my package and here he comes after 5min of searching my box, " I dont see your box, other employee went to lunch and ill ask her once she get back" and after that, i had to go work and went to PO next day.
there was this lady and I asked what happend yesterday and she came back with nothing and said "I dont see your box, we dont have it" and asked couple question about how this could happend blah blah blah
so basically what she saying is we dont have it in PO, so just file a claim.
she dont even temp to help me or anything and basically blaming me saying didn i pick it up already? because what she saying is without yellow paper, you can still pick it up ( which is I think that system is wrong then? ) and when I said because I bought it from member i dont have insurance and she was like " well to bad, you lost then "
is there anything i can do about this??
from this, basically if people get package and if PO employee decide to take/steal all those packages home then customer just have to suck it up and hope/wish that they have a insurance on their items, right???
So pissed... :frusty:
and sry for my nonproper grammar, hope you guys understand it.
I would think if there is a slip confirming it was at Post Office and it was never picked up, there should be some recourse for you.
I hate to jump on board with this, but I followed that thread from day 1, and while I felt bed for the OP, he did waive the signature and while maybe thought nothing bad could happen, it did and unfortunately, for waiving the signature he is screwed. I am not going to say one way or the other about how I feel who is responsible, but I do feel it is very childish that he continues to have in his signature line "Boomba Racing still owes me $282.". As if they ripped him off, never sent the item, sent him a damaged item, etc. Sure, maybe they could have worked with him for any resolution other than the tact Boomba chose to take, but to say they owe the money.. that is just lame. Maybe something like, "Boomba shipped me a part that was stolen from me and won't replace it for free" would more accurately portray the situation. But there is a link to the full thread so anyone can draw their own conclusions.I've never dealt with Boomba racing, but I did see your thread.
Clearly the issue was 100% your fault for waiving the signature confirmation of your package and then telling the post office to leave it on your porch.
Anyway, sorry for the derail. To the OP of this thread, keep working on it. Follow the steps that others have mentioned. File a claim. Do everything on it and I hope it turns up for you!
