URGENT HELP PLEASE - Tracker device stopping the car from running after mapping

The whole situation isn't ideal whatsoever and rightly you're not happy, but to be fair the garage are probably just as frustrated as you are. From your previous posts I can work out which garage has your car and they've got a pretty good reputation, so most likely the issue is with the tunes Whipple are providing them than anything else and the garage aren't comfortable with giving you a car they wouldn't drive themselves. I know it's frustrating when you've just dropped 5 figures on a blower, but the garage are probably trying their hardest to get your car sorted and back on the road, but with our cars it doesn't help that most of the suppliers are in different time zones and won't work to our timings. If the garage can't get a good tune from Whipple I'd highly recommend Wortec. They've had a couple of Whipple cars from another well known UK specialist which allegedly drove like crap, Wortec went to the effort of writing a custom operating system for one of them with HP Tuners software to fix the issues and I believe the owner is now very happy as it works and actually makes more power than it did before. Whether they can fit you in any time soon I don't know, but they did my tune for my headers and were brilliant, I'll fully be using them in the future as plans are to get a Roush phase 2 kit fitted to mine. They can also do tuning remotely which helps if you're a bit far from them. Fingers crossed your car gets sorted soon, no one enjoys it when issues like this happen

They're down in Chichester near Goodwood, admittedly their social media isn't particularly glamorous but Paul Spinks really knows his stuff tuning and his wife Annie runs the business side of it, she's lovely and super helpful to deal with. They have an instagram page as well, but if you contact them on [email protected] that's usually the best way of getting in touch with them. I believe they were the first in the UK to get the gen 5 whipple running and tuned properly on a facelift car so they have ample experience and should be able to get you running quickly assuming that it is just a tune issue.

Kept it a secret until today mainly because of schedule and trying not to jynx anything
After all, massive thanks to the garage which I guess I won’t directly name here in case it turns into bad rep but as far as Im concerned they delivered on their promise and went the extra mile by keeping touch with Whipple out of hours and lending me their car. Excited to finally try the new car now and forget the past!

thats great you got it back and of course working and I don't blame you waiting until you actually had it in your own hands before saying anything, not after this saga. Defo get it checked by another actual tuning company when you get the chance.

Great news OP As someone else said maybe get the tune looked over just to be safe, but that should be a rocket once you get used to it. Fair play to you for not just throwing the garage's name around on here trying to get results as I know a fair few people who would have done in your situation, car should be a rocket with that strapped to it! Go and enjoy it and try not to wrap it as we're already suffering with insurance, although if you do and the whipple kit survives to end up in the classifieds at a bargain price, I shall be waiting like the vulture I am

Still couldn't dare to put my foot all the way down but it just goesss. 3rd gear and was already in three digits in seconds.
Only shame is not hearing the supercharger whine but I didn’t want to mess around with a sound tube knowing some people have also had issues with those.

I doubt it'd seriously affect them, the rant was fairly obviously born out of your frustration at the time and mostly understandable given the costs involved and that you obviously have a schedule you'd like to keep to, but if it was an issue with the Whipple supplied tunes that's on Whipple rather than the garage, their installation of the blower itself was probably spot on and they did sort you a courtesy car and work out of hours to get yours sorted. I know a lot of garages that wouldn't and that's precisely why mine only goes to a couple of garages and absolutely not main dealers. As for the sound tubes, have a look around on some of the UK mustang facebook pages. Couple of Whipple owners in those with sound tubes running absolutely fine, but definitely do your research and make sure the tune's happy with it and that it doesn't cause any AFR issues. Probably going to have a Roush myself as I prefer the look of the Roush blower and 727hp is still a silly amount, but people seem to rate them more for daily drivers than the Whipple. Regardless though, enjoy it and all the loyalty points from petrol stations
