how do you guys do it? i use the manage attachment option and then upload photos from there. problem is, most of the photos i want to upload are to large. any suggestions?

Use any photo hosting site. Upload your photos from there. Then follow the instructions. I use tinypic.com. You'll get a url for a direct link to post to forums. Use that once you download your photos.

Upload to imgur.com first. Click "upload", browse your computer for the image, hit upload, copy link.

Then grab the link from that upload, come back here, and click the button. http://imgur.com/vzL0oCc

That's how I do it at least.

IMGUR.COM is my favorite. u can create an account and upload from your phone or computer. then once it's uploaded u can use the BBCODE link to embed. they recently updated their iphone app and it's a breeze to use.

Plus imgur strips the photo of all personal information from the exif data.

good point. if you are an attention whore and take lots of pics at home and upload somewhere that doesnt strip that data, the public will know where u keep your car.

For small images pulled off Google or other random sites I also use the simple copy/paste method. Right click over the image, Copy Image, Paste. For full sized images I use a hosting site like Photobucket or Imgur.
