Upgrading Beyond 401A/201A

I have the Ecoboost Shaker Pro 201A package, I am content with the quality but but want more Base + Boom. My car has the low profile sub-woofer in the trunk which has a nice boom but I am looking for something bigger.

What would I be looking at if I were to upgrade the sound? New amplifier, another sub-woofer? What kind of wattage should I look at? What size speaker? Any advice would be appreciated.

In-cabin subwoofers are probably your best option. I'd try to go with at least 18" cones, individual amps for each.

I agree with you on the more boom, I have a 2 12inch kicker setup with all new speakers as well in my lexus suv but I dont want a near 200 lbs box in my trunk of the stang. I will probably upgrade speakers all around and get a 10 inch box(trunk) or there is also 2 8inch boxes I can put under each seat. I spent about 1400 on Everything for the lexus.
FYI 2 18's will be unreal.
