I replaced all three 3.5" speakers, the two 6.5" speakers, and the A-pillar tweeters with JBL club speakers. Right away, the mid and high frequencies were a million times better, but still, the system lacked any bass. I installed the Kicker Hideaway last night and it woke the sound up! Easy installation and it has that genuine Kicker "kicking thump". I am no longer ashamed of listening to music with the windows rolled down.
A "must have" upgrade for anyone who enjoys their music. Total cost for the upgrade was a shade under $500 and well worth it.
However, if I had to do it all over again, I probably would not have replaced the 6.5" door speakers. Once the Hideaway was installed it made those difficult to hear. I may install an amp to power those.
