It's very simple really. If you want it and you got it like that then get it. If you want msrp you will have to wait and wait you will. Maybe when the mach1 or gt500 come out it will take the pressure off the 350.

The Hellcat has been in production for much longer than the Shelby. I haven't seen anything saying when Ford will stop producing them for the model year.

First year production of hellcats were a tad over 7,000 units.

I totally agree with you man.
I think there is nothing wrong is ADM when people can get below MSRP for most of the cars from the same dealer. Its called free market.

We sell lots of brand new Ford trucks for $10K below MSRP quite often. Customer sure seem to expect a big discount like this since there are so many dealers - each with so many new trucks to sell.

So, the tables are turned on a hard to find GT350. $10K over MSRP? Big deal. Suck it up and pay it if you gotta have a GT350 now. Want an MSRP deal? Wait until next year when there's plenty to be had.

Here's a thought. Offer your local dealer full MSRP for a brand new, loaded up F-series pickup if they'll sell you a GT350 for MSRP, as well.

You don’t want to know
Is there anyway we could get another ADM thread going???
I was thinking about putting together a historical listing of all the threads with ADM in them, but I figured it would be easier just to read every other thread.

And to the OP, I understand your frustration, but I reject your characterization of "Unreasonable Dealers." They're only doing what buyers are telling them to do. If buyers quit paying ADM, there would be no ADM.

Here's one option. You mentioned that you deployed. Is there any chance you will deploy to a location that has a MAS dealer? If so, you might be able to get a GT350 through their program. MAS cannot charge anything over MSRP, and the GT350s fall slightly under retail through the program. The only drawback is that some dealers use a lotto system on limited production cars. I didn't have to play that whole lotto thing, but it really depends on the allocations for that area in the world.

BIG DEAL ADM talk.....its either we talk about; whose waiting on their car, whose loving their car, whose bitching about the paint, dings, gaps, whose modifying their car...why not talk about pricing...what else is left?

wow lot of butthurt around here.

OP if you want a car NOW then be willing to likely shell out some ADM. The demand is incredibly high for these cars and they are only building so many per year. Or search for another 6 months and maybe you find one at MSRP- more likely at $5k ADM- and only saved you $5k for months worth of calls and searching. How much is your free time (with friends and family) worth to you? I can tell you there are people here who have called literally 50 dealerships and not gotten an ADM deal, some have on dealership 6 and some on 56. You never know, but are you willing to fork over your free time for weeks and/or months to save a few thousand bucks if you want the car that badly?

Or you can have your car being built now and out enjoying driving it while the ADM trolls around here talk more shiz on a forum without any 350 to drive.

Your choice based on your financials.

I had a few comments thrown my way justifying their choice in paying ADM, defending Brian with his typical dealership practices, what's the key in finding one at sticker etc...

To the OP, finding one at sticker at this stage in the game? Well it's very late. If I were you I'd start speaking with dealers about 2017.

To the rest of you who directed comments toward me, I'll be taking delivery of my car most likely by the end of the year. It's been built, released from the factory and may or may not be heading my way right now. I worked with tireless diligence over a year ago to find a great dealer who will be handing over the keys of my car after I stroke them a check for MSRP. I talked to a hell of a lot of dicks over the phone before I found the dealer I eventually ordered from.

If you paid an ADM, you got suckered and squandered your money. You allowed your infatuation and compulsiveness to get the best of you. The value of my car will be exactly the same as yours, given identical options. You lost the game and the dealer won. To justify to yourself you say 'it's my money yada yada'....yeah it is, and you wasted it, and you know that, and you'll look at your car with that voice in the back of your head 'you paid too much'. If you admit paying ADM to your friends you expose weakness. Nobody respects someone so compulsive which is why you'll keep it to yourself.

My dealer and I? Well we both won. They're getting this sale, one in Jan-Feb, one next fall, one when my daughter is of driving age in two years, referrals from friends and colleagues etc etc. I've found the dealer that I'll always do business with because they VALUE me as a customer. And I value them because they've treated me fairly, didn't rip me off and didn't even try. For now on when I buy a Ford, I'm going to see them.

The main major fallacy in your argument is that you assume that time has no value and than anyone who paid over MSRP is thus a "sucker" for that.

Time has value to a vast majority of professionals on this site who bill by the hour- doctors, lawyers, dentists, business owners, etc. Instead of spending "tireless diligence" calling 50 dealers, or say 10-20 hours searching, some of us can make the ADM money (and more) in that same amount of time actually working in stead of hunting for the needle in the haystack.

So blowing smoke in a vast generalization about people and their personal choices makes you wrong to begin with. If your time has no value then great, but others does.

Whatever makes you feel better about getting bent over at the dealer. People can research and inquire on the weekends, evenings etc. Your argument sucks lol.
