Hi Torrie, this is streetz 5.0 from focusst org. You tuned my very first ST3 and I also purchased your downpipe. I see you are here making people very happy too :-) keep at it! [emoji106]

Unleashed tunes are the best bang for the buck by far! Swoop up up on the Thanksgiving day sale. I had a Unleashed and Custom Accesport and both are awesome. Any tune will turn your ecoboost into a new monster.

Torrie, I'm about to switch over to the winter tune. Sine I did some data logs on the summer tune and you sent over both files is a new data log required or nice to have for the winter tune? Also, is there any need to flash the car back to stock before putting the winter tune on?

Hi all, first post here and I read all 51 pages. Well my car is new, stock and I would like to add a tune and it looks like Torrie's Unleashed tune has nothing but great reviews! I just have a couple of questions before I proceed and I apologize in advance if they have been answered.

1. If I were to purchase a 91 tune, how safe is the tune? I understand spark, timing, etc. will be adjusted and will it get pushed to the limit, how many lbs of boost will the tune make overall? The EB is already boosting at almost ~18 psi stock.

2. In the event something happens whether or not it's tune related, when flashing back to stock do you guys know if the dealer can tell how many times the car has been flashed, does it leave a blueprint? This is a tough question and if no one really knows it's cool.

I'm sure Torrie has tuned a lot of cars in the past and his experience is something to consider when trying to find a reputable tuner. From what I can see, a "lean" condition is what usually stresses out the engine and it will result in major engine failure.

Torrie, if I purchase your tune and decide to add a CAI or exhaust later, the car won't go into a lean condition correct since our cars are MAP based?

I know the old saying, you have to pay to play and that's why I'm doing all the research I can to get a reliable tune. Yes, I would like to keep my warranty if possible and I'll be the first one to pony up if my mod caused engine problems.

A tune is a risk indeed. However, a great tune is always worth the risk.

Approx 22 but its all calibratable.
Modifying your car doesn't make your warranty evaporate. If you have the stock calibration in place that is what they will see if someone chooses to look.
CAI alone doesn't require a calibration change.

Dealer is only going to see how long since last time it was changed, not how many times you have changed it. I have 24k miles on my car since last October and 16k has been with Torries' Tune (previous was AM). You just do some data logs and he will fine tune it for you in no time. I've never seen such quick customer service before. If you change something up just do some logs and submit them...it's that simple.

16k miles on Torries tune?! Was it one of his preloaded tunes or did he have to fine tune it?

That is awesome to hear!! However, have you have had any warranty work needed where you have had to flash back to stock?

Thnks Ron and Torrie for your feedback. Torrie I have a few hundred miles on your tune. . So far so good!!

Bro, I was in the same boat as you and was very cautious of tuning.. reading all the feedbacks and the way Torrie responds made me do it. Granted I don't have any issues as if now so I can't speak for warranty purposes *knock on wood*.

Research more if u want but I'm sure dealing with Torrie is topnotch customer service so that's very helpful.

-He sends you a summer and winter tune. The summer tune you do some datalogs and he fine tunes it. You don't need to do anything after that if you don't want to. I chose to have him look at some datalogs and do some revisions at the end of summer time when the temps here were 60 in the morning and 70s in the daytime. I just switched to the winter tune because in the mornings temps are so low now. I haven't sent him a datalog on the winter tune yet, the only reason to do that really is if you just want the extra piece of mind that everything looks good.

-I had recall work done for the possible underneath fire crap and I just left the tune on and told them not to touch the ECU. My car is pretty heavily modded both performance and appearance wise so I just talked the service manager and let him know. My dealership is pretty good and it helps I'm in the military.

Thanks for the response guys. Ron, your car IS LOADED!! You have a really cool dealer congrats.

I'll do a lil more research and find some pros and cons.. Seems like Torrie's tune is reliable so that's great to hear!
