I program cars before I drive off the lot.
Not hard
Flashing the vehicle takes about 5 minutes.

I have the programmers in stock $ 399 with custom tuning included http://www.unleashedtuning.com/mustang/

Thanks for the info! How long do you think it would take to flash back to stock? I guess I'm just worried about flashing back and forth for servicing. Anyone here took theirs in with a flashed ECU?

I would not be worried about flashing the car back to stock. The X4 is petty quick. My car is back at the dealer for the recall. I flashed mine back to stock just to be safe.

Vert turbo!!!!
That is official... Ran a 0-60... 5.7 from 6.1.

Not breaking necks but for a very with no other mods, I am happy. It is a vert so all good.

Drove 400 miles today... Got 32 mph... Had a sprinted run with two mustangs... Might have hit 33 mph without it. Happy with that.
Dumped the luggage, full fuel and the heat I ran the 5.7 (empty trunk, .25 fuel and went from 95+ to 77 degrees) .... ran a 0-60 in 5.3. Back to back. I went to the exact same place I ran my 0-60 and got 6.1 back to back before the tune. The temps were around the same then.

I think the biggest difference was that I've been driving the car more now since I ran the first 0-60... I know how to launch it much better. I had to relearn that.

Have the video as well... can hear the crickets since the top is down. Fun times.

New to the forum but interested in this tune. I use my car as a daily driver on the highway and want to wake it up a little bit but not worry about any type of mechanical issues from this down the road. I only have a MMR intake and lowering springs now. 91 octane is the best gas available here. What type of gains should I expect from the tune with just those mods? Would new spark plugs be recommended?

Thanks

Sorry again for the probably repeated questions. Would this have any long term negative effect on the engine? I don't really hot rod but I want some more performance out of the car and extra MPG would be good too. How about warranty work if it's ever needed? Just flash to factory and then re-flash when they're done?

I can gain both power and MPG. Yes flash back to stock prior to warranty work.

I just took my car in for the recall. I flashed my car back to stock just to avoid any problems. It takes 5 minutes to do it. Why give them a reason to be A**** about things?

Torrie, you are a frickin' genius! I finally flashed my car with your tune. It is awesome! Not so much the power; I was expecting that, and hell, I expect anyone can tune for power. But how that power is delivered; that, I expect, is another thing. This Mustang is the first performance car I've owned and I was pretty happy with the stock tune. However, I did notice 3 slight flaws in the stock tune when I stomped on it; there was a slight hesitation before it started to come on strong, there was a slight but noticeable hesitation where it seemed as if the engine was running out of breath before the turbo kicked in and it kept going strong, and it seemed to run out of breath above 5500 rpm and just level out. All of these were tiny things and didn't detract from the fun I had with the car. But damn!, they're all gone. The engine starts screaming as soon as I stomp it, and it pulls strong and smooth - no hesitation anywhere - all the way, it seems, to redline. I figure it probably does level out somewhat above 5500-6000, but even above 5500, it feels so dramatically different from before that I haven't been able to figure out where it is leveling off.

Thank you!
