Would it be possible to do a economy tune on 87 octane for those long road trips to try to save as much money as possible? I'm spoiled with my VW Golf TDI, I get about 50 mpgs on the highway. Also with the video you posted with the awesome shifts, does it shift the same way when you are in sport mode and using the paddles?

I just need to ask, really dude, why did you buy this car? My wife's TDI I bought for a reason, and my Stang, I bought for a reason. If you wanted TDI gas milage, buy a damn TDI.

Why can't a person want both?

I'm in the same camp. HP and mpgs, please.

Same crap on truck forums...the masses tell anyone who wants a bit more mileage out of a truck to sell it and get a Prius...

Why is wanting to maximize fuel efficiency a bad thing? I know if I'm going to be on the interstate for hundreds of miles, the need for high octane shouldn't be needed since there is virtually no chance of going to WOT, and there must be a more efficient tune that the factory provides. When I gets home, go back to the 'power' tune. Cake and eat it too...

Not all of us are buying these cars to race. Got other junk for that.

Supposedly MPG is better with the tune. I haven't seen it, 23 with and 23 without tune. It would be nice to electronically squeeze of few more MPG out.

AWESOME TUNE

I know I'm repeating myself but I just want to say (again) how awesome the Unleashed tune is! The tune has basically turned our Ecoboost into a rocket ship. We also own an LT1 Z28 Camaro and I will tell you this Ecoboost is faster. The coolest part for me is how it makes the power so smoothly and quietly. I've analyzed the exhaust videos and for me, it is much more fun to have this kind of speed combined with the "stealth" of a quieter exhaust. Now I just need to convince the wife that her Mustang needs to be lowered.. Thanks Torrie for an awesome tune!

I can generate a dedicated MPG file if someone requests it but I build in aspects to my performance files to increase MPG already.

How responsive are the paddle shifters with the tune? Also on that video, what mods are done to the car. Thank you!

Same as current. There were 0 physical mods to the car at that point.

Running the 93 summer tune I noticed going back & forth to work a couple of times that I am getting a little better mpg on the highway for sure 1 to 1.5 mpg better plus the advantage of the car being "unleashed"

So how many pounds of boost are your tunes pushing torrie, say with downpipe catback and intake? I heard a forum member stating 28psi, which sounds on the verge of disaster with this tiny turbo and weak FMIC.
