Hey everyone,
Long story short my car is sitting uneven in the front.
It never truly bothered me until I started trying to stuff the OEM GT350 wheels on my base 17 GT.
With that said, they fit, with no rubbing except for on the front driver tire.
My car needs an alignment and has the following mods on the front end suspension:
- Steeda progressive lowering springs
- Steeda adjustable end links (OEs bent twice, these are an eye candy upgrade!)
- Ford PP lateral links and control arms.
I am adding the following:
- Steeda camber plates
I want to get the car aligned but think I need to lift the car a bit on the drivers side so I also purchased Steeda’s front ride height kit.
I have a few questions about my ride height issue:
Is it normal (~.5inches is what I currently have), and if not what are some quick tricks for fixing it.
- i’ve disconnected and tried driving without my sway bar for a few miles.
- i tried reclocking my bushings
- again, the car absolutely needs and alignment but I’m unsure if a camber/toe adjustment will solve this.
if it is normal - is there any major downsides to slightly lifting the driver side using Steeda’s ride height kit to level me out and prevent rubbing on the drivers side (this is my big question, any Steeda rep
I plan on asking for-1.75 degrees of camber on the front end to stuff the tires and hopefully solve my rub issue (it’s rubbing on the outer edge on the inner portion of the fender lip/liner).
thanks in advance. I’m all ears for anyones recommendations.
i am also open to accepting my car is crooked and lifting the corner if that is the issue lol.
