Alright so I installed the inlet and it completely solved my high air temps.
And for everyone calling this an open element CAI.... It is not! This CAI seals better than any other open air box I've ever seen, it presses so good against my hood that my hood liner is marked with the outline of the air box.
There's no air getting in from the top.
Yes it's essentially a closed box, some people just really like to hate on open air boxes and I understand because there are some very poorly made ones out there. So it is essentially a closed box huh? I really like the way this intake looks, interested again. Are your IAT’s stock like when sitting in traffic?

I've had like 5 different boxes including the factory Bullitt box and this one is far better when it comes to a perfect hood seal.
It has nothing to do with cost, even at over $300 the JLT is pretty much dog shit when it comes to a proper hood seal, it's like they didn't even try and then to add insult to injury they include a piece of foam to shield the side while still leaving a huge gap and pretending the air won't get in from the top.
