Have been running 4.09's for over a year but never reprogrammed anything. Went into Forscan a couple days ago to do some other things and noticed in BdCM that there is an option for 4.10 gears in the drop-down menus so I picked that and afterwards started getting the U0422 DTC in the PCM in Forscan, but no DTC's in BdCM. Went back into BdCM drop-down menu and picked 3.73 again but the U0422 was still there. Disconnected the computer and turned the car off, then reconnected and in Forscan did the PCM relearn procedure. Again disconnected the computer and turned the car off and reconnected and the U0422 was gone. Note that I never had any issues where the car seemed to be losing power, whether BdCM was set for 3.73 or 4.10.
