Anyone had faults come up?

My Drivers Side Rear is warning that it is at 18psi (dropped from 24psi this morning).
Tyre pressure is at correct setting of 34psi when I check it.

Was gonna try & disconnect battery to see if it cleared
Any suggestions? :headbonk:

Go to Ford and get them to change under warranty, the sensors are quite delicate so if you hit a pot hole hard or bump on NC500 it can literally mess them up though it is rare and they are generally broken and messed up by tyre fitters. See if Ford will sort for you. :)

Yep, I'm with gibbo - back to the dealers... :(

To be fair, mine wer ebrilliant, I got two blowouts and they both told me I had 0 PSI, shockingly. Put Macs tyres on, hit reset, all pinged up. Put new ones on, hit reset, all syncd up... Must just be an odd one! Thankfully no flat for you :D!

I'm surprised your tyre sensor system didn't go into meltdown after your shenanigans :lol::paddle:

My shenanigans, I wish it was some heroic drift that did it, instead I was sh1tting myself down a road tighter than a nuns cun7 praying I didn't scrape an alloy on the wall, at 20mph.

Instead went through a pothole and kaput bleebs and dings, TPMS went batshit on my screen... I was screaming 'fuck fuck fuck' thinking I'd scraped the entire side of my car...

Tl;dr damage wasn't as bad as I expected -

Hey guys, I've gotten new rims and the shop bought new sensors from Ford for me however every 30 mins or so I get the tyre pressure sensor malfunction come up. I can reset the system and then it displays the pressures however another 30 mins same error comes up.

Do you have to sync the sensors to the car some how? I note that all my pressures were reading 42psi and front right was 41, i checked the pressure at the servo and they were all 45 psi. I dropped it to 43, reset the car and then checked but the wheels were all saying the same 42 and one saying 41. almost like it's defaulted to that pressure somehow?

Any ideas guys?

Thanks!

I had to reset them 5 times in a row (after each error message) before it stuck. I've got a feeling this is how it's set up

I haven't done it that many times, I'll give it ago. however ive already reset it about 10 times after each message comes up. I could always have a dodgy one I guess

Silly question are they original or have you replaced them. There are two types of tyre pressure sensor. One works with the mustang the other does not

43psi is way too high buddy.

You need to set the pressure when the tyres are cold to the ones listed in the door card, I believe this is 35psi for a GT PP car.

If your running 43-45psi cold, well its going to be rather interesting handling wise. :D

Yeah i know it's high, it's what the shop set them at. I've dropped them to 38 cold and done 10 resets in a row and the car is still saying they are 42, I dropped one to 29 and reset it and still said 42 so they aren't synced to the car. I am seeing Ford tomorrow so hopefully I can borrow their tool and sync them up

Yea the training tool, is the same as on the S197 which was made in 2005, you would have hoped the tech had improved. At least the sensors are still not round the rims, cause they were a living nightmare
On my CS it's set to only 32 all round, never realized how much difference there is between cold and warm tires
