I'm interesting in maybe going to this.. would I need a helmet? Anything else? Never raced on a drag strip before

If you run under 14 seconds (which most likely will)
you need a helmet. Jeans and shoes.

If you go over 100 mph you'll need all that.

I won't be able to make it cars and coffee because I'm going to Phoenix to trade in my eco for a GT but I'll make it to test and tune.

Yes I will. Can't beat the price I'm getting the GT for and I don't have my stock exhaust anymore and don't want to spend the time changing out the inter cooler and intake. If you want a AP pm me and I'll let you get it for a cheap price.

13.99 or quicker you need a SNELL approved helmet. DOT only will not work, if they are scrutinizing. If they don't know you they will most likely check.

If you have an aftermarket power adder (supercharger/turbo/nitrous) you'll need a special jacket. There is also something else you need if you have nitrous but I can't recall. Dump tube or something like that.

Other tips: If you're on street tires, DO NOT drive thru the water box. Go around it. Drive towards the trash can in the center of the lanes and follow the stagers directions.

Track exit is on the left. If you are in the right lane DO NOT turn off in front of the vehicle in the left lane.

well I should be there for the 25th as well. this is a slow 1/4 mile track so lets see what it can do.

Same here. I say meet 645 at River and Campbell PF Changs/zinburger parking lot. That way we can get good parking and all together leave right before 7.

So 645 at River and Campbell it is. Hope we can get a few of us there to roll in together! I need to bring to bring a chair....and cooler.... walking around for a few hours does get old

I went threw the water box on my street tires. I'm sure you remember seeing me at the track with my Eco.

I know. Quite a few do it but it's a no no. Unless you're on DRs or slicks it's a waste. And can be dangerous for others that are running slicks.
