I don't know what it's called but there is a plastic panel inside the trunk that sits against the back side of the car. It's basically the plastic that gets all scratched up from stuff being in your trunk. This piece also has the hooks for any netting you would install

Mine is scratched up and I want to show my trunk off at car shows. Does anyone know the name or part number for this part? Or do you have any tips for removing scratches from the plastic? Perhaps a magic eraser would help?

I would try DuPont orange rubbing compound to smooth out the scratches and then maybe a black liquid shoe polish rubbed in to even out the color. Do this in a small area to see if it works before doing the whole panel. I have done this before on plastic a-pillar moldings in a 73 convertible. Made it look like new.
