Has anyone else gone out to their car to find the trunk popped open? I have found mine open 3 times in 3 months. I suppose it's because I carry my fob in my pocket, but I've never had an issue with any other cars' fobs. Any thoughts?

To be honest I've never had that happen to me. Going on two months.

I've accidently popped my trunk while driving when I was looking for the sunglass compartment but found the trunk button instead. And yes, it will pop loose while the car is moving, and yes, the "trunk ajar" warning lights up.

But I've never had it pop open from my key fob hitting something. It seems my key fob likes to push the alarm button instead. Very annoying, especially late at night.

Yup, me too. I am just glad they did not put the sunglass tray next to the eject button...that would be harder to explain....

Fob Jacket?

One of the reasons I put a 'Jacket' on the fob. No more emergency horn blast when I accidentally bump the fob. I did once pop the trunk also, this way. Put a yellow jacket on it...hated searching for another black fob among others.

Wow! I need to get out (of the car) more. I didn't even realize they made fob jackets. Sounds like the solution to my problems. Thanks!

I purposely tested the trunk button while driving and it would not open. I thought that was a nice safety feature.

Not the trunk, but I've come to my car with the pony projections going becuase I unlocked the doors - multiple times. I hate these convex fobs. Really wish they were the same concave shape as my wife's Edge.

I tore mine apart and wanted to make a slim fob that would fit in my wallet almost like a credit card (about 4-5 CC's thick) but the guts are just too big and the fob case is what holds the battery...not the chip.

Maybe sometime I'll try, but yea, I hate the massive fob especially when I never use any buttons.

Maybe it's a p@n!s thing, but I hate how big the fob is. I always carry as few keys as possible and no exteraneous junk on my key ring. I don't want women thinking I'm VERY glad to to see them with that thing in my pocket! LOL:lol:

I take mine out of my pocket when I go out to eat and set it next to my phone on the table....I've had 2 or 3 people over time ask me about it because they see the horse on it....

I am more inclined to set off the alarm than open the trunk, but I have done both. Finally learned the fob has to ride in my left pocket, not right like I am used to.
