Well if you think about it there cosmetic mods for appearance, what did the cowl hood do ? Don't worry you'll get a sc one day and it will make up for the cosmetic mods lol

no cervini. just gonna try to get the cowl painted again unless someone buys it.

here is a pic of the mismatch before i put the black oem vents in. you can tell it's more clemson orange vs the redish orange of CO. I'm the 2nd owner but I know the guy who painted for the original owner. he just used the paint code and that was it because he was kinda doing it behind the scenes at his work.

In theory, the cowl could have allowed for heat dissipation by allowing it to rise further up and escape out those vents near the windshield. Also makes more room for super charger or a bigger manifold as you said. Unlike a useless hood scoop, a cowl wont cause more drag as well.

I see it there. That sucks, it looks so good with the Roush bumper.

i got someone wanting to paint it now. just not sure if i'm willing to put the money down for it to still not be 100% spot on and I can't make up my mind if i even want it.

found a shop that's actually my real good friend's cousin who restores mostly old cars who is wanting to give it a shot on matching. They seem confident after seeing the hood today and using a camera on the cut off valance piece I had from putting rtr valance on that they can get it pretty dang close.

*crosses fingers*

cool thing was they had a 67 mustang completely torn apart about ready for paint in the booth there today. Super cool seeing it completely apart.

His original pics have the hood on the car. The lines look pretty damn good to me.
