Don't know if I should keep this on or not, don't get me wrong its a work of art but it makes the car look like a gypsy waggon.

not sure what a gypsy wagon looks like but i agree it doesnt work. Way to busy back there with stripes and wings.

I never cared for the "goggles" look of the black panel inside the wrap-around painted edge. It may be iconic Mustang, but it's also kinda uni-brow to me. (I.e., the black panel spanning the tail lights.)

To do a quality job, and because it was pretty cold outside, I removed the panel and did the work on the kitchen table. I learned earlier that the upper red stripe has to be applied first, and then the lower yellow stripe. This is so as to apply the upper edge of the stripe, and then "roll" the stripe down a little at a time, which stretches the film. This, plus spray water, made it tricky to get the film to stay and cooperate while futzing with the 3' wide stripe.

I know the flag really has gold instead of yellow, but I can't find a non-mirror or non-metallic gloss gold vinyl.
