Has anybody added this to there EB or V6 ?
If so , pics would be appreciated.
Also , what is the dimensions of your emblem and distances used from back and top of fender ?

Thanks in advance .

I would love to replace the 5.0s on my GT. I remove all alpha numeric badging and any other I don't like the looks of. Unfortunately, the 5.0 badges are located via holes in the fender so would have to be replaced with something more aesthetic or patch the holes and repaint half the car. Tribars would work for me but don't know of any that would cover the holes AND fit flush on the extreme curve of the fender.

I have and love them! I used scott drake 65-66 tri-bar emblems. They required some bending to match the fender curve but other then that if right on with the supplied 3m tape.

zackmd1 ,
Thanks for the feedback . I noticed the curve in the fender and that was one of my main concerns . How did you manage to bend the emblems ? Also , what is the distance from the fender back edge to the tail , and fender crease to top of tri-bar ?
By the way , mine is also Guard so it gives me a good idea .

Thanks again .

No problem!

Dimensions:

Tip of tail to fender edge: 2"
Top of bar to fender crease: 4"

The scott drake emblems are made of a soft pot metal so they are relatively easy to bend. I used a press and ALOT of rags/protection on the emblem to put the slight bend into the emblems.

I used the '99-'04 Tribar Ponies (3" x 3"). I tried black chroming them but they did not come out well and ended up painting them steel. Later I plastidipped them as well as the rear pony but I now sport something different :headbang:

White the Tribar look great on your car! Where did you get the rocker stripes?
They were custom fabricated by Exotic Vehicle Wraps of White Plains, Maryland.

I can PM the exacting details of the striping material, etc., should you like for me to do so.

Not meaning to jack your thread OP, but the tri-bar pony looks great on the grille as well as the fender.

Yet another reason why I ordered a CS.....

Not my color, but the grille.....:headbang:
