The locking effect of the Torsen is a bit higher than the Traction Lok, even though it has no preload. The preload might bridge the gap in traction is one wheel is momentarily unloaded, but don't think for a minute that it will prevent all one-wheel spin - it can't transfer that much torque across the axle. Older generations of Traction Lok could only transfer about 30 lb-ft, though I've not had the chance to measure breakaway on a new one for the Super 8.8" axle. To get one-wheel spin in the burn out box with a Torsen, you'd have to have a pretty big difference in traction across the axle, something exceeding the torque bias ratio (which can also be considered a traction ratio side-to-side).
