Track Attack (take 2) Oct 15th!

I am heading back for round 2 in Charlotte! For anyone attending the Track Attack on Oct 15th, plan to meet at Hooters for dinner at 7:00 the night before (14th). They close at 9:00. We can migrate next door to Hotshots Sports Bar and Grill afterwards if people are interested. Some of us are staying at a different nearby hotel (by the Waffle House circle) and these places are an easy walk between the two hotels. We did this back in the spring for the first event and it seemed to work well. Get ready for an AWESOME day!

Awesome, yes... I remember. Are you flying back after the event or the next day? I flew home the same day the first time and was SPENT! I’m spending the night there after the event.

I got the family with me so we'll fly back on Friday. My son is going to do some laps with the instructors on the 15th so I bet he'll be tired also.

It’s an amazing day... you guys will have an absolute BLAST! If you haven’t seen any videos of the event, I recommend watching the last section of my video below. The track is challenging. Getting a feel of the layout before you go would be helpful. Even though you are doing lead-follow, I found myself surprised by turns quite a few times as I was rapidly closing the gap to the instructor. Fortunately the brakes are insanely awesome in these cars!
