I believe the TPMS in our cars need rotation to detect and/or activate the sensors. So if I'm mounting the sensor internally to after market wheels via bands or other brackets, do they need to be aligned in a way where it will rotate all the same (valve stem portions pointing outward) or can they be mounted "sideways" where it's not rotating on the same axis it normally would?
These are going to be two piece wheels so I'm pretty sure my options are going to be a bit limited. I need all the choices I can get.
If anybody has their sensors attached where the valve stem ends up pointing toward the front/back of the car please let me know if you had/have any issues.
