Hi All,

It looks like the American model S550s have no option to install a Tow hook but our RHD cars being Euro complaint have space on front Driver side to install Tow hooks.

I was looking to install a tow hook, purely for aesthetics.
But i did not find any details about the thread size and Pitch for the tow hook.

Does anyone know about it and would like to share it, please?

You have a Tow Hook.

Look under the foam container that holds your Air Compressor, that is located in the Spare Wheel Well.

It is fitted into the foam container.

Remove it from the foam container, remove the Blanking Plate from the Bumper, and screw the Tow Hook into the thread.

I am looking for one of these to install at front. There is a little spot in front bumper where you can mount these, but not sure what is the three size and pitch, as there is none available specifically for Mustang, only universal ones.
That's possibly because US models don't have mounting point at front in the bumper unlike our RHD models.

Perhaps it's supplied/stored there due to the fact that Ford identified early on that the air compressor/goo would likely be useless in the event of a flat tyre and that you would require a tow in any case.
