I am no convertible fan, but if you are and thats what you want I say wait. Don't let availability cloud your judgement. If it were the other way around and the vert came out first, I would definitely wait for my preference. I had an 03 cobra convertible that I bought a few years ago, I bought it because it was almost what I wanted. I regretted the decision because I didn't like the vert so I sold it after owning it for two years and only putting 1800 miles on it. Get what you want or you'll be sorry. Plus if you like a vert it will be ready just in time for the sunshine next year!

Where does it specifically say when the convertibles coming out. I know everyone says Job 2 but I thought that was happening in Q4. March sounds like they almost might as well just call it the next model year...

Sorry wasn't trying to confuse you, but read some of the other posts.
Well there have been many rumors and different ford top dogs saying different things. I have read end of year, early next year, march 15'. I think I also read somewhere that job 2 starts in Q4 as well. That would give me the assumption that they would be available within 4 to 6 weeks later. They are also saying that they can accept vert orders right now.

I debated and debated and looked at so many pictures finally went with the guard my deposit is refundable but I am pretty sure that I am going to love it it was just one of the new colors for this year and I wanted a different color than I had seen around here.

Ask yourself this, "Will there be a time your sitting back relaxing, and wish you had bought a convertible"? If so, you should have waited. :shrug: Don't jump until your sure.
