Too much attention, can't take it anymore!

Picked up my GT last month. I am getting too much attention, too many head turns. People asking about my car, asking to take a picture, co-workers asking for rides. Its annoying as hell. I do not like the unwanted attention. I've decided to return the Mustang and get a less conspicuous vehicle.

If this is the case I am going down to the dealer on Friday to cancel my order. Thanks God I found out before it was too late.:headbonk:

I'm usually a low key, under the radar guy and this year has been very different.

Early in the year I got my C7 that I ordered and quite honestly I was not ready for the attention. I had people honking, waving, and taking pics and videos on the roads every single day for the first 4 months. I had countless conversations at the gas stations and TWICE people told me that they didn't even need gas, they pulled in cause they wanted to see the car.

The Mustang has been like a slightly more subdued version of that experience, but it's still there. I think the reasoning is that it's mostly Mustang owners/fans that notice the car. In the C7 the biggest draw outside of other Corvette owners was from Euro cars like BMWs and Audi's.

Either way, I have learned that if you're shy or don't like to talk to people in general and prefer to mind your own business, don't buy a popular car after a redesign/remodel. :lol:

Did anyone really expect not to get any attention when they bought this car????????

Its an icon, it looks great, it just got released, every kid wants one, every adult wanted one, and it was quite hyped up before its release. In several months, when there are more on the road, though it will still draw attention as all Mustangs still do, it will not draw nearly as much as it does now. So park it for a few moths and bring i out when the dust settles a bit.

Just as long as it isn`t the "Police" that are giving you all that extra attention, you`ll be fine.

Actually had the police give me a bunch of attention last Sunday when I stopped for gas on a long trip through Alabama. At first I thought I was in for a hard time but the officer just wanted to ask questions about my car. It was really cool getting compliments from local cops.

When it comes to Law Enforcement, I`d rather slip (under) the Radar, no pun intended and be as invisible to them as possible, compliments or not.

Lol, this would happen all the time to my in my EVOs and STIs. That kinda stuff just makes me laugh.
