Hey guys I was wondering if anyone had any info on when the 2018 order banks were being cut off as I literally cannot find a 18 with midnight blue stitched recaros pp1 anywhere in south Florida.

I think guys have already been denied in the past week or two so I would assume banks are closed. Don't quote me though..

1. Get off the net, your wasting time.
2. Call in sick and spend the am at the BIGGEST dealer within a reasonable driving range.
If orders have been cut off a huge dealer should already have standing stock orders submitted for April and May builds. The dealership can amend a previously submitted stock inventory order to meet your specs.
3 Don't play with a sales person- get to a new car manager. They will know in minutes what their standing order situtation is. If they get squirley then leave immediately and get to anorher dealer immediately.

I ordered one yesterday, still hopeful. Dealer said they would order right away, but I had to drive 30 miles to the biggest dealer I could find.

Agree 100%. I just did this...in Canada. As mentioned above, it helps to know a management person, or at least have a very experienced sales rep who has management respect. My guy has 45 years selling Fords. His dealership had 34 bare bones Eco Boost coupes already in the system for May builds ultimately ending up in China (that's another story). On March 29th, they pulled one of the Eco Boosts and submitted my GT Premium in it's place. Called me yesterday to say my car is serialized and scheduled for build on May 7th. Should have in my garage by the first week of June. This scenario is not going to work for everyone still wanting to order a MY18, but it's worth asking about, especially if you have a close relationship with a dealer.

Awesome!!!! I assume something similar happened to me. I ordered on March 27, the 30th I called my dealer and they gave me the order number. When I signed in COTUS the car had a VIN number. Even thought it said was ordered in March 28, I believe they swapped one of their orders because it was too fast.

That's great news. Do you have a build date? I saw a Royal Crimson Eco at Fiesta Ford in Palm Desert, Calif., a few weeks ago. It had the tan leather seat trim and black stripe. Fantastic looking car.

I don’t have a build date, but I already have a VIN. At least build date is not showing in my cotus. Estimated delivery is end of June, perfect timing for me.

Here’s some pics I took when I went to my test drive. FL Sun helps Royal crimson...I wonder about those black stripes you mentioned. I ordered it because I couldn’t find one with the options I like.
