Ended up buying it from eBay. Yup. under the navi settings there is no storage card option. where storage card should be it says "temp", clicking on that bring some to an empty menu.

Do you have an SDCard in the slot though...?

I do. 8GB kingston card. Navi just won't launch. Clicking there short cut up top brings me to home screen, pressing the nav button on the home screen does not.

Strange... You could try to re-flash your unit and see if it solves your problem.

It's pretty quick. Did you see a weird boot screen?

did you follow the tutorials correctly...? whipped the SDCard and extracted all the files at the root? Then enter in the engineering mode?

UGH. i wanna low key stranger myself. But they box had a okay quality control sticker on it?! lol. well. time to get ahold of them on ebay.... lets see how this goes.
