To those with Priority 01

How long did it take from order processing to delivered? How long to get a VIN assigned?

Usually priority 01 are reserved for major screw ups (my case).

How did you get a 01? NOT 10 but a 01.

Originally had priority 20 (stock) back in June. Never received VIN. After complaining to the GM of the dealership in November, they placed another retail order with priority 01. Got my vin within 2 weeks, build week 2 weeks after. Taking delivery tomorrow (according to the transport company).

EDIT: The GM of my dealership reported to the Director or someone who looks after the dealerships in the area, and they are the ones who are able to assign priority 01. You placed your order in September it has only been 2 weeks, so your propably not going to get 01 unless its Feb or March and no VIN by then.

It could be transported by a different company. My dealership uses this company. My vin didn't work yesterday, but today it worked as they picked up my car from Flat rock at 6:42am this morning.

Ordered 12/2. Vin received 12/4. Built 12/15. Now awaiting shipment. Priority 1 here. Probably the fastest I've seen in this forum.

Priority 1 only helps you get scheduled. After the car gets a VIN it's not treated differently than any other car.

That's almost certainly a myth though often repeated. Go check out my dates I posted above for my priority 1 order. Do you think it would have been passed through the stages like that if it wasn't a 1?

Yep. I've seen it a couple times. Most of the early orders are already built. We waited weeks just to get a VIN, but in the last few weeks people are ordering them on Wednesday and getting a VIN on Thursday. Like I said the priority helped you get scheduled and probably why your build week was fast. Hope you get your car soon!
