I have a set of 18x10 Apex wheels that I'm currently looking for track tires for. Been looking at Nt01 and possibly RS-4 (open to others). My question is what is the widest tire I could fit properly on these wheels to maximize contact patch?

Thanks

A 285 is the widest tire I'd be comfortable using on that wheel. Something to consider, if you're still running the BC Coilovers listed in your signature they take up more inboard room than the factory dampers do and will require at least an 8mm spacer with that 18x10/285 combo. This is a too thick of a spacer to run on the stock wheel studs so longer ARP units should be added and then at that point, go with a 12mm (or 1/2") spacer for a little extra breathing room.

If you wanted to avoid longer studs, stick with a 275 width tire and run a 5mm (or 1/4") spacer.

Thanks for the info Cory! I think we actually spoke via email on fitment with the BCs! Good to know that a 285 is the widest to comfortably run as that narrows down my selection.

Ah yes, I knew this sounded a little familiar! Good luck with your decision, definitely do those ARP studs.
