I'm buying my 17 soon and have decided to get ferrada FR1 wheels. 20x10.5 ET38 out back and 20x9 ET35 up front. I also want the sportline springs. So, I'm wondering if I get 275/30 and 305/30 tires, will they rub? Any suggestions on tire size? I havent decided what brand tires to get yet either...

That's a pretty aggressive setup for the rear.

this guy did 275/35/20 in the rear with a 20x10.5 +30. You're definitely looking at some rubbing in the rear with a 305 tire unless you get some camber adjustments done... or you're stock height.

The best advised fitment is a 275/35/20 & 295/30/20 or 295/35/20.

NItto invo
MPSS
Toyo 4+

Now since you are sportlines your drop is 1.5" so I advise to get the rear adjusted camber to about -2.2 for the best fitment.

So, if I did 255/30 and 275/30 would I be alright? Idk how extreme -2.2° camber looks like, but I'm not a fan of the look and I don't want the uneven tire wear...

You cold but the tires will curve a bit.

Your GTPP comes factory -1.5 degrees camber when you lower a car for every 1" you typically gain -.5 degrees. So you would be at -2 right now or so. So the advise is to just fine tune it and you dont notice it. Everyone you see lowered running 305 or 315 tires and or ferrada wheels runs that camber specs.

I advise for the 275/295 for the best tire sizing fit.

Alright, thanks for the advice and response. That's exactly what I'll do.

I wish I knew exactly what it was gonna look like, cuz I am struggling with the fact that I'm going to spend $4k+ on a set up and I'm not exactly sure if the offset will stick out too much or how it would look with either the sportline springs or pro kit strings... I google and I google and I google, but can't find a s550 as a visual with the same offset, springs, and tires...

Its understandable, well we do a lot of Ferrada setups. They always come out super clean, the drop enhances the look ( lower the better lol).

First thing first what style out of them do you like and what color is the S550?
