Well, the inevitable happened to me. I rubbed my front passenger side tire trying to get in closer to a sidewalk due to it being a busy street. There was a scrape on my wheel, but that was an easy fix with some touch up paint. My big problem is it peeled away some of the rubber that is close to the edge of the wheel. It seems to only be superficial as there is no chord showing where the rubber came away, and no bubble under the rubber surface. Any guys with more tire experience have some insight on how worried i should be about it?

Honestly? Your best bet is to get an opinion from a tire shop or the dealer. If they say it's fine, it's fine.
