Hey all,

I'm looking at getting a staggered wheel setup. Front would be a 20x9 with +33 offset and 275/35/20 tires. Rear would be a 20x10.5 +45 offset with a 315/35/20 tire.

Question one is would this setup fit a 2016 gt with stock suspension.

Question 2 would be that I'm also looking at the steeda progressive lowering springs. Would using those springs cause issues with that setup?

Thanks!

305 on a 10.5" wide rim is already questionable. Do the specs on your 315 brand of choice approve of 10.5? It would be far more sensible to run 10" front wheel would it not? Or at least a 9.5. Or is running tires too wide for the rims the "look" you're going for? There are lots of wheel choices in the 9.5-10 fronts and 10-11 wide rears.

Agree with previous post. Also, 315 on a +45 offset wheel is going to be totally flush and a 315/35/20 is tall at 28.7" in diameter. Should be OK on stock suspension but could be an issue lowered.

The particular wheel I was looking at was the American Racing ar920 blockhead. It's only offered in 9 an 10.5 on a 20 inch wheel. I'm not completely set on that wheel but I like the style. Overall I'm looking to stay under 2k for the whole setup and that seemed like the best budget friendly yet stylish 20" wheel.

And I just checked the tire I'm looking at in the 315 is rated for a 10.5 yo 12.5 wheel.

there is no accounting for taste. :) kidding!
yeah they sure didn't give you much in the way of options.
29.6lbs vs 23.6lbs AND flow-formed for $30 more and no need for alignment rings (eg. LMR R355).

Granted these (VMR v705) don't come in 20" but hard to argue with the $99 price.

So if going with those lmr 355's, the front 19x10 and rear 19x11, what tire sizes would you recommend? I want to go as big as possible to fill out the wheel wells.

Do you mean big or do you mean tall and are you trying to fill the wheel whells from the side view or from the top view On a front 10" 285/35 seems to be the popular pick. 305-325/30 on the rears. Grab yourself a quartet of of 3 and 5mm spacers (they're cheap) and you can probably achieve the look you're looking for even if you guessed "sub-optimally" on the tire size and ratios your first time out.
