Lava - your car looks damn good. I love the stripes and the tint. I'm getting my windows tinted this coming Tuesday and I might very well tint the tail lights.

Thanks. I finished the remainder of tint out today doing the reverse light and rear reflectors

I just installed mine yesterday, it doesn't cover the inside panel. I was a little concerned at first, but it looks fine after applying and probably wouldn't wrap around the edge that well anyhow.

Lava, sorry for the off topic post, but can you tell me how far apart your stripes are?

So in the same post where you state that eyes can't tell if the tail lamps will still pass safety standards, you look at a picture and decide that those tail lamps with tint won't pass? Do you have some mystery data that suggests factory tail lamps operate at exactly 100% of minimum specifications for federal safety standards, or are you just spreading feels all over the forum?
LMAO!!!!

Stripes are 1" apart and 9.5" wide each with a 1/4" gap between pins on each side. That in turn is centered with no taper from the roof line to front and rear bumpers

Perfect, I was planning 1" gap with 10" stripes, no pin stripe. That should look perfect.

I really like the tinted rear lenses too, they look nice. Once I get the stripes, I may need to consider some tint on the lenses.

So after watching the install video on Anchor Rooms website I have a concern with their tail light tint. The piece looks like it only covers the more rounded side and the flat part of the tail light, but skips the "inside" part of the light.
This is really hard to explain but if you watch the video youll see what I mean.
Lava which website did you order yours through?

I think Gun Smoke looks like a good compromise between effectiveness of the lights and adding a stealth look. However Charcoal looks very nice. I'm a little hesitant putting quite so much tint on the brake lights.

My windows are 35% which is the max we can do legally in Oregon. I'm curious where 35% falls between Charcoal and Gun Smoke.

Gunsmoke would be closer to 35% than the charcoal. The gunsmoke look good, not black, but they do look good and let a lot of light through. If you are hesitant, I think you'll be quite happy with it.

Can one of you all post some night time pics with running lights on and brake lights? Id like to see headlights on as well. And what wheels are those?
