That game was awesome! First and only one I've ever played that didn't let you move the shifter unless the clutch was in. AND you could stall the car :clap2:
Imagine that, an arcade game that simulates driving a manual. End times for sure with manual cars. I think manual shifting games with a clutch pedal are going to be popular in the near future. Wish I could scoop up an ACR, end of big motor manual cars :(.

That 911R, especially the classic one is hideous with those stripes so far apart, wtf was porsche or whoever put that thinking? New one is okay, but price is laughable. Might as well get a gt3 and have a manual swapped in, put the GT3 transmission in a kit car for racing.
Hmm, 500k for a 911 porsche or 500k for a new Ford gt. That would be a tough choice! :headbonk:

Very fun game, can't imagine the hours I spent playing that game even as recently at a month ago!

I do have friends who have manuals, but I did not tell anybody I ordered this car, because it will be a surprise.
I don't see a problem with just "Hey, could you teach me how to drive a manual? Just wanted to see what it was like and how it drives"

Unless they are like Sherlock Holmes and figure out that you're buying a new manual car, I think you'll be fine. Although the guy who taught you manual will probably ask you to let him drive your car to return the favor... so there is that.

I "learned" on an old 4 cylinder ranger. That was rough.
After that i would drive a manual trans car every once in a while and every time I got in I had to learn all over again.

It's hard to really learn until you have a manual transmission car of your own though. Getting some practice in before your car comes is a good idea.

Congrats on the car. I've seen two of them at NOLA MSP and they sound amazing. I'm sure I will run into you there sometime.
