After shredding both my MPSS front tyres in 7k miles I need a new set. I wasn't planning on replacing them until I replaced the wheels but it looks like I've got no choice.

I've found MP4S 255/40/19R for £204.52 each on Asda tyres, wondering if there's any where cheaper ?

I knew my 25mm spacers caused a slight camber and was expecting higher wear on the inside but these tyres were fine last summer. What could have caused it ?

camskill.co.uk has both mpss and mps4s in stock and both cheaper than asda price.

Spacers shouldn't adversely affect tyre wear. Lowering springs would. Have you had your alignment checked?

I did when I had the Ford Racing Track Handling Pack M-FR3A-M8 installed 2 years ago. I'm thinking I may need to get it checked again.

deffo need to, you probably knocked it out of place, causing the uneven wear.

I think @welsh_treg had some michys for sale, and I know @hinch has a pair lying around (but for rears)

Used Oponeo for a set of all weathers for my Mondeo a couple of weeks ago. Delivered to a local fitter, easy, straightforward, all good.

Theoretically using spacers can change the camber, because it changes the load applied to the suspension due to the increased torque applied around the suspension pivot points.
This can slightly alter the static ride height and thus increase negative camber, because you are moving the rim+tire weight outwards and making the "lever" longer, which would make it flex.
With very thin spacers (5 to 10mm) you probably wouldn't notice it, with thicker ones (20 to 25mm+) theoretically you could well have had things move that woudl cause extra tyre wear.
As has been said, best way to tell is to get the alignment checked again.

Yeah, that sounds plausible
