Hello everyone,
I have a 2016 Mustang GT with LTH, a JTL CAI, and a custom tune. OEM intake manifold.
A couple months ago I started to notice this thump/thud/purge sound coming from the intake area and didn’t pay much attention to it since it was very intermittent. Today when I was under the hood I realized the sound was happening intermittent but much more frequent than before. I also notice that the idle changes slightly when it makes the noise and the vacuum drops from 22-20 ish. I attached a video of the sound below. If anyone has experienced this before or has any advice on what it could be that would be greatly appreciated!! I believe it could be the throttle body from what I’ve read on here but I want to make sure before I start any work. Thanks!
