Wonder if a gloss black or Satin GT/CS pedestal would have been better for the base Mach 1? looks like the base GT spoiler
My thoughts exactly

Something tells me that if they didn't come out with a Bullitt, the Mach 1 would be much better received.
They are not Bullitt wheels. The Bullitt wheels are round and glossy, these are flat and matte. If Ford hadn't used the Bullitt wheels on the base model Mach1 it would have been better received and the Bullitt references be nearly non existent.
The wheels are similar, but not the same. Note how the Bullit has a "ridge" in the middle of each spoke. If Ford hadn't used the Bullitt wheels on the base model Mach1 it would have been better received and the Bullitt references be nearly non existent.

...I'd have preferred it they'd given the Mach 1 wheels a silver/polished spoke with the inner part of each spoke black......be more like a Magnum 500 then.
It’s not the wheels, it’s the engine. Everyone wanted 500+. They were disappointed they all they got was the Bullitt engine. If Ford hadn't used the Bullitt wheels on the base model Mach1 it would have been better received and the Bullitt references be nearly non existent.
Azure is nice, but it’s not Grabber.Dear Ford..........please bring back Azure Blue for the '22MY
I'd be happy with either. In the meantime, it'd be a Twister Orange one for meAzure is nice, but it’s not Grabber.

I doubt it because neither the base nor track model appear to have forged wheels - they'll be heavy cast wheels. I hope I'm wrong, but like the PP2, the wheels will be boat anchors. Light forged wheels on either of these cars, but especially the track pack car, will put them into a different realm and really complete the package.Hopefully the Mach 1 wheels will be lighter than the Bullitt wheels. At least, from what Ford says, it will be a track-capable car and therefore weight matters.
