Ahh....that #1 car. I feel a special bond to that as that was the mine when I went there and it was the first time I've ever been on a track.:love::love:

As an S2000 owner, this is one of the biggest reasons I ordered the Shelby. It seems many of the same qualities exist in both cars. It's kind of a bigger, more powerful S2k, with a roof, a back seat, and an amazing exhaust note. Can't wait for mine to come in.
s2k owner here also, you wont be let down one bit. only a couple issues ive found, the s2k (03) is more raw, no nannies, small, noisy...etc. Hit the gas above 4k in the 350 and its a whole other beast yet more refined and controlled, confidence building if you will.

exhaust not even a comparison!

They actually assigned me a Magnetic.... not enough AG for everyone. I think there were like 4-5 owners of AG... and most participants had Tech packs. :ninja:

Pic below after we did Launch Control at start of 3rd session (the fun fast solo one). Yeah we dumped the clutch at 6k rpm. :headbang:

You gotta do this M.... will help you develop some balls. :D

Of course! Got some vids too which I'll post once uploaded. All the GT350's they have are "G" cars therefore 2016. Early VINs too... like 28, 35, 38, etc. It's worth the trip and it's actually great particularly for those that never ever tracked. Although I do have a suggestion but I'll reserve until later.

Is being overseas an excuse?
It should be! But the "no excuses" is more for the M guy.... :D

Thanks! Yup, my friends relayed as well. My area didn't even get much... typical showers and at most ~20mph occasional gusts.

I've driven a lot of exotic cars, Lambo Gallardo, McLaren 650S, Lamborghini Hurracan, Lamborghini Aventador, Audi R8 V10, 911 Carrera S, 911 Turbo to name a few. How? I own shares in a luxury rental company so I get free rides.

Nothing come close to me to the enjoyment I get from driving my GT350, it's been only 2 days but it's the best driver car I ever owned. My friends say I'm crazy for preferring a Mustang to all those exotics, but believe me the attention with an exotic gets old fast. When I drive the GT350 I feel like it's an extension of me. Best car I've ever owned. I look like a maniac laughing by myself when driving it.

And .. for 60 grands? Damn, what a deal.

^True. I met someone at the TrackAttack school who has other exotic toys (two 458 Italias currently!) and he also loves the GT350!

I haven't signed up for the track attack yet, but really need to. Never been on a track, and need to learn how to really drive this car.

Oh yeah it sure is... I exercised it for you. Still fast as F. Can't you tell by some laps from my solo session? :D

Don't even second guess.... for a first-timer or for anyone who seldomly hits the track, I highly recommend to do it. If you can drive the GT350 on the streets, you can certainly drive it on the track at UMC. The Instructors do a nice job especially for novices since the morning exercises build up to the actual track laps in the afternoon. And they try break it up based on skill level so as a newbie you will be with other novices or less-experienced folks. You'll have fun, learn & develop some skills, and realize how good this car is when pushed.
