Fortunately i am not. Waiting to receive official improvements but we did get a notice saying that changes were made to better our delivery times.
Well if it's legit and I see a material change to my order date then hats off to you city ford for proactively using other methods of media...

Yes it is, I spoke to my sales person and advised him to jump on the forum as he also purchased a Mustang. I consider myself lucky that I have a sales person who is more than happy to help and has a vested interest in the Mustang! Christian has been great throughout the whole process.

If you have any legit news in the Everest department please pm me... My mustang dealer has been less than helpful and current experience is driving me away from ordering one

Hi Guys,

Good news, Due to improvements in productivity at the plant at Flat Rock there will be a revised ETA on all priority orders some time this week. Fingers crossed all orders improve greatly.
This sounds promising - any suggestion on what the changes were?

It was reported a few months ago that the Flat Rock assembly would be closed from the 15th of June to the 10th of July before reopening for 3 weeks of final 2015 builds.

The 2016 builds would then start on the 3rd of August

Always happy to help. Please don't hold me to these improved dates, I'm only relaying the latest update on the delivery dates, I'll inform you when it gets released.

Also no word on the Everest, We are due to receive more some time this month.

The closure would probably be due to Summer Holidays. No indication on what kind of improvements only they will be reviewing our delivery dates. Hopefully it's significantly better but if your production date got pushed back as far as August i would doubt that a February date is viable.

Also on a side note please don't yell at your dealers for this delay it has come to a shock to all of us.

Hey no worries, it is what it is,
I'm pretty sure the dealer$ would want the full payment from the customers of these Mustangs ASAP too, not just hanging onto their deposits.
I believe all are trying their very best to give all a fair result.
Just don't rush the build of my Mustang and create mistakes, the only time I want to bring my Mustang back to a dealer is for the scheduled servicing.:)

GREAT NEWS GUYS!!! There have been massive improvements on delivery times with the Mustangs. For example our first Mustang that was due to arrive in December has now been pushed forward to October - My Mustang which was delayed to February has now been made November.
BUT unfortunately some orders have not been improved, best person to ask will be your dealer.

Well my dealer has no news I as a feb 4th order am still may... This is the worst managed release of a car I have ever seen. I am almost at the end of my rope to be honest. Almost prepared to buy one of the cars that will inevitably be up for a 10k premium day 1

Calm your farm! A lot has happened in the past two weeks, earliest cars are still months away and things could still change throughout Q3.

I've heard nothing yet, but hopefully the next couple of weeks will clarify the situation. You're a month ahead of me for an order, so you might be surprised.

WA is always last to get news so i've had to be extra patient...

Well the orders we had that were originally set to arrive in May have been pushed forward to Feb and April. Every dealership will be different but hopefully that can give you a good guide.

I am calm. Just very annoyed. The process has been so badly managed it's laughable... If anyone ran a product campaign like that in my industry they would be fired already

Unsure to be honest, I hadn't heard anything about production on convertibles being set 2 months after the fastbacks. I could be wrong but i like to think that i am pretty up to date with my information.
