Just fitted a 2channel Thinkware F750 to my 2016 Ecoboost, followed an excellent guide on here.
I've ran the yellow cable i believe is B+ (continuous power) to fuse 2 which is Power mirror memory module. The fuse is there but i'm not sure if the UK cars have that feature? We have folding mirrors & electronically adjustable but i dont think they're memory. (I would assume if the fuse isn't used then its missing, otherwise it is used?)
I ran the red cable (ACC) to fuse 23 which is Switches, Power windows, Rear-view mirror.
The ground i ran to a screw which is just above the accelerator pedal in our cars (RHD remember), its next to the fuse box.

There's a couple of issues, first is even though i've turned on parking mode and motion detection, neither of those 2 features work.
Next is when i start the car it turns on and starts recording as expected, if i stop & restart the engine within say 15 minutes the camera doesn't turn back on and i have to do it manually. If i leave it for an hour or so it will automatically turn back on when the car is started.
Instance where that would happen is dropping into a store and getting back into the car within 15/20 minutes v's going to the office and leaving the car for a few hours.

Any ideas?

Why not just use a fuse that is always on? Dash cams use very very little power. It would take an entire WEEK of not touching your car at all if not more for a dash cam to drain the battery
That's what I'm trying to do! Previous threads have said use Fuse 2, it isn't working for me & I don't know which other one to use instead.

does anyone have a link to that thread? A search on Thinkware doesn't show an install thread. The closest is a post inside another thread about installing the rear camera in convertibles and that one has no pictures because they were hosted on a site that now blocks them.

I used fuse 23 and fuse 2 for my blackvue 2 channel set. Worked perfectly for me. You might have a defective unit?
