Think the EBM's need better LCA's?

I am a fan of BMR's stuff and found these:

Curious if the EBM needs them as much as the GT's do, I assume the launches on the GT's are more "violent" than the EBM's...?

There are other things I think I would get first. However, if you could get the EB to build a decent amount of boost off the line I imagine the launch would be quite violent... ;)

I hear ya! Just don't hear a lot of complaints about the wheel hop from the EBM's.

Relatively cheap and easy to do though.

Everyone always wants to do the go fast parts but if you can't put the power to the ground a Dodge Neon will beat you....

Well i have seen a number of eco's with wheel hop and most tunes can give the eco more torque than the GT, translating to violent launches. BMR makes several nice items.

I agree. I've been looking at solutions as well. I think cradle bushings (or inserts like Steeda uses) would be a good place to start. Kind of waiting to see which has the better total solution, Steeda or BMR. Don't think you will be able to go wrong with either.

Looking at the cradle bushings on BMR's site that looks like a pretty involved project and a good thing to do at the same time as an alum d/s...when they come out....

(4) Heavy Duty Billet Aluminum Lock Out Rings for the cradle (Top Mounts)
(2) Heavy Duty Steel Coated 8mm thick washers, front (Bottom)
(2) BMR Unique Steel Coated Lower Bushing Lock outs, rear (Bottom)
(2) BMR Tubular Steel Cradle Braces - centers cradle, re-enforces bolt mount, adds jacking point (front lower)

Saw that too, looking forward to it. Did BMR show pictures of that stuff too? I don't remember seeing any. Are the lock out rings the same concept as the Steeda pieces?

There has been several. One on here if i remember correctly. A review of the map phase 1 kit. Try a search. In any case the rear suspension of the gt and eco are identical, so if the gt gets it the eco will. Whether someone gets it or not depends on various variables.

I heard that they were coming out with a kit. Ill have to check it out. What i dont want is more nvr and a stiff bone rattling ride. Its a dd not a race car. Lol. If its a mild kit then it may be the one.

They didn't share any pics/description of the design yet but I'd imagine they will probably be similar if not the same as Steedas but for much lower price.

I've gone to the track with all seasons and the stock summer tires and I had issues with both. I was just hopping and skipping to the point where I'm not even gonna bother to go back until I get something to address that. With DRs you would probably get by ok but those won't help in daily driving

Same boat here, wheel hop is pretty bad. If I get a chance i'll try to get a picture of my burn out, you can see where the tire marks get lighter and darker for the first 15 feet or so. I left on about 5-7 lbs of boost at about 2300 rpms.
