Not yet. It drove on the trailer and drove off the trailer. When I got back to the pits it smelled like brakes/clutch. A guy walked up and told me when I did a burn out that only one wheel spun...so maybe the diff?Shit I almost went to Tulsa. I am chasing an 8. Any idea what broke?
Man I was looking at that time thinking your car runs almost identical to mine (10.28 @138), then I realized yours is an auto. 145mph you should be solidly into the 9's. Something is off with your setup.Car's best 60' was 1.56 (10.27 @ 139). I've always been working towards a 1.4 anything would get me a 9. So yeah...Had I been able to run a 1.4 on that pass, it'd have been mid to low 9 second pass...
DA was ~1200'. Between the air and the good gas, that's all I can attribute it to.
It's never not shook the tires on a pass. It's never not spun on a pass. So yeah. Until I figure that out...Man I was looking at that time thinking your car runs almost identical to mine (10.28 @138), then I realized yours is an auto. 145mph you should be solidly into the 9's. What type of tires are you running? how is the track prep? What stall do you have? It's never not shook the tires on a pass. It's never not spun on a pass. So yeah. Until I figure that out...
MT Pro R's in a 345/45/17 I believe. I've tried everything from 12.5lb to 25lb. Doesn't affect things at all. Next year I'll probably switch over to a 275/60-15 if I do anything with the car at all. What type of tires are you running? how is the track prep? What stall do you have?
