Haven't watched this dire programme for many years, however I do believe Jeremy Clarkson once punched Piers Morgan right in his smug face. As far as I'm aware, none of the new TG so-called presenters has done this.

It's not his car collection that makes him a d!ck its how he wants everyone to know what he has !!!! Have you read any of his articles such as in the Top Gear mag? Listened to Radio2 ? heh

The three stooges from the 'Old' last of the summer 'Top Gear' wine had nice car collections but don't continuously brag about it to the lower achievers.. ...and weren't always name dropping were they ?!? No

Evans is no fool, worth many millions, he has created TV shows which are showed and copied all over the world. So made perfect sense for TG is a total petrolhead, runs his 2 car shows every year for Children in Need.
But it just did not work with him, this was not his creation, and it showed. He was being asked to be the new JC and that is not him. I mean they even said the same words when talking about the Stig.
The 2nd series should be MLC as lead with Sabine in the studio with him.

Sabines too hard to understand, i'm sorry, it's just the german accent, nothing to do with her, you don't want viewers to be strained listening to something. She's fine for segments. Not for the entire presentation of the show.

Ey! that's a black country accent, not a Brummie one. Anywayyyyy, I have no issue with her, she's a brilliant driver.I just feel for a programme as big as it was / could still be, having such a hard accent to listen to will be tough for the viewership.

He had one of the 1st La Ferraris in the UK. He took it to The Supercar day at Dunsfold 2(?) years ago and did passenger laps in it for charity. Think it was pretty much brand new when it got there and he seemed to drive it in anger too.
