The Great S550 Chop Thread

Alright, so we pretty much know what the front fascia looks like. I was told what the side profile looks like, and we only have a report from focus groups on what the rear looks like.

Ok, so the front end will look like this, except with a hood that doesn't have such an extreme dive at the end.

And my buddies (notice that it is plural) over at Ford told me what the side profile is almost EXACTLY that of the NFS Hero Stang, from the side scoops to the fender bulges to the hips, it's S550.

Now, to ANYONE who has ANY skill at Photoshop or GIMP (the latter being the free one), I encourage you to try and see what you can come up with. If you want to learn, go ahead and download GIMP so you can have a stable photo editor that you can make baby steps on.

FYI someone already filled in that sketch (kind of). Not the greatest resolution. I let JohnnyGMachine know in case he wants to put his mark on it since it is afterall, based off his work.

I still would love to see someone fiddle with that top sketch and ideally fill it in after

Here is my hope/wish. If we can combine these 3, it would be PERFECT for the next stang. The front of the first sketch, the rear 3/4 of the second, and the overall sleekness and refinement of the Aston Martin. I'm hoping one of you photoshop gurus can make it happen. But more important, I'm hoping Ford can!

I know a few pros who do some amazing work. Will see what they can come up with and post it up. But I'd love to see others give it a try first.

Here's an update of the Hero Stang:

Slimmed up the headlights a bit, made the grille more attractive, stretched out the rear part of the roof a bit more (for more of a fastback look), lowered it slightly, and other small bits differentiate it.

I like it but still think the front is too dull and needs to have the nose of Johnny's sketch. I'm going to fiddle with the sketch but I did a few REALLy crude overlays to get started, took all of 15 min only but you can see how good it could look.

When I have more time I'll work on it but feel free to go off of these if it helps.

Hah this is like open source rendering :clap2: Love it keep it up guys. I'd pitch in but my crayon coloring level skills probably would not help.
