The S550 Mustangs have an assortment of LED and halogen lights from the factory, with the most obvious being the reverse light located in the rear valence. While entire replacement housings exist, they require more work to install and cost more. Diode Dynamics has the solution with their 3157 LED bulb offerings. Brightness can range from 250 lumens all the way to 800 lumens which is the one we'll be installing today.

Noticed was $42.50 at DD site. Not cool for them to undercut retailers even if only a few bucks.

DD site says 3 year warranty. Steeda page doesn't seem to mention an included warranty but offers extra cost warranty for 1, 2 or 3 years.

DD has free shipping. Couldn't tell if Steeda has free shipping without entering full address.

Purchased this and seems... way more dim than I expected :(
I'll have to pull it out in the AM and double check to make sure all 40 LEDs light up. To be fair, I haven't cleaned up the lens housing.
