I have a ton of surplus M855 because the local ranges don't allow us to use it. I go through my M193 stock fairly quick and it's what I enjoy using most of the time anyway. The potential reclassification doesn't worry me.

Yeah, I don't really care to be honest other than the principle of it all. I have about 8k rounds of M855 still stored, so my only issue is if they were to make possession a crime (living in California, anything is friggen possible). I use and stockpile much more M193 just for better accuracy, even in 1:7 barrels. Sierra Match King 55gr reloads, Federal XM193 brown box and Winchester Q3131A dating back to 1999. In 2000 I bought 3 pallets of Q3131A at <$90 per 500, but sold a boatload when prices spiked to $450/1000 when Obama got elected.

Love the R8. Extremely accurate and super smooth in double action and only 3 lbs in single. A little heavy but not like a Desert Eagle.
