Have you super charger the 350R? or have you left it stock?
Shes not supercharged yet, I'm projecting to late February/March since I ended up buying another exhaust system (5K) which was released for presale a few weeks after I bought my original setup so that put me a bit behind for the car budget. Looks like March it will be FI ,,Dss Drive shaft(in house), Braille 134x battery(inhouse), with the 8-4-1 exhaust setup on e85, then looking into a few suspension/chassis tweaks and she's done ..unless I close a particular deal @ work then she will get full ceramics and a Anderson Gt5 hood painted to match to aid in extracting out as much heat as possible.

Sounds like a plan. Keep us posted on the progress.

As parts are rolling in and being installed, I will be taking pics and posting followed by sound clips of the new system vs OEM R setup

Chris,
I understand the mental battle you are having here. Childhood memories can be SO powerful. At 17, I was on my 3rd Mustang. They were not classics yet; just old cars. It was a 1967 GTA Fastback with a 390 engine. It looked cool with its mag wheels and it screamed like NASCAR. Got into so much trouble with that one. Such wonderful memories.
A year ago I had a chance to pick up a restored one for a somewhat reasonable price. Hadn’t driven one in 45 years. It was nostalgic for about 5 minutes, but it was so disappointing compared to a 350. Period, full stop.
Enjoy the memories of the guy ripping on a Cobra. Go into your garage and fondle the 350, then plunk down any extra cash on your daughter’s college fund.
Sorry, this is my “Dad” speech for the day.
Cheers,

27 mustangs since age 18 here including 4 terminators (2 mystichromes). The one mustang I should have kept was my whippled mc. I was about to buy my 3rd a few months ago but the gt350 was too tempting to pass so I now have an 18 in my garage. The big difference bewteen the New Edge and the s550 is comfort level. I'm 6', 210 and the terminator was too cramped for me. The s550 I have room to move and the creature comforts even on a sparse factory equipped car are light years ahead of the older car.

You can't go wrong with either though.
