MAPerformance cold air intake came in today! Cleaned it up and masked it off going to prime tomorrow, and then paint it black this weekend! Any suggestions on finish of the black for the intake? Matte, gloss, ect...

Guys....I am sorry for all of the random questions on here but I am just trying to arm myself with some info and what ya'lls thoughts might be on some of this.

I hear from ya'll and I read posts about the P Zeros and how bad they suck in the cold weather. What do you think my chances would be if i asked the dealer to swap the P Zeros out for some equal A/S tire? Do you think they would go for it or do you think I am on my own?

It's definitely worth a shot! The P zeros suck in the winter. I lose traction, and get sideways anytime I get WOT in the cold. I wish I could be more of a help to you though. I also have random questions I put on here, but the point of the forum is to learn, so no worries!

Just spoke to Sherman about the tires. Seems that is going to be a no go. Really don't want to have the expense so quick on a new car. Pretty sure the wife is not going to understand that either.

Those P Zero's suck in any temperature. Just worse in the cold. I've never hated a tire so much as those.

Only potential I am seeing is that a lot of people are selling them in the classifieds...and they look to be selling. I guess they are going to those in warmer climates and looking for a good deal. Might hit up my contact at Discount Tire to see if he can do anything for me on this also.
